You required a Phone number, a credit card and a GitHub or Microsoft account to sign up for a free azure account.
Click on this URL, here click on Start free button.
In then next screen you can enter your email (Microsoft account), Phone or Skype.
Also, you can sign in with your GitHub account.
Note: The best way is you can create a free Hotmail or Outlook.com email id (Free) and then you can use the same email id and password to sign up Azure free.
Even if you remember the Skype ID and Password that is also fine.
Then you can enter the email id and password.
Then it will ask you to enter personal details like Country/Region, First name, last name, Email Address, Phone, City, etc.
Fill all the details and click on Next.
Then it will ask you to provide the Phone number details, make sure to provide a valid phone number. Because you need to confirm by a text message or by a call.
Once verification done, click on Next,
Now, you need to provide the credit card details. Provide everything correctly here. Because it is going to deduct a little amount of money from your account.
In my case, it just deducted Rs 2 from my account.
Then check the Agreement checkbox like below:
It will take sometime and setup your account like below:
After sometime, you can see Our Azure portal is ready and we can access the Azure portal.
Also, you will receive an email to the email id which you have provided while setting up free azure account.
Then you can go to Portal.Azure.com and you can see the Azure portal.
This way we can sign up for a free Azure subscription and can access Microsoft Azure for 12 months.
Create azure free account without credit card

Remove credit card from Azure
If you want to remove the credit card from the Azure portal or subscription, then click on Cost Management from the Azure Portal.
Then from the left navigation, click on Payment methods like below:
Then select the Credit Card and click on the Delete button like below:
If you want to update the credit card details, then click on the credit card and it will open the details page, where you can edit the card details.
This is how we can remove credit card from Azure free subscription.
Azure cannot delete credit card
Sometimes, you will see the Delete button is disabled like below:
So, in this case you can not delete the Credit card details. If you really delete the Credit card details, then you need to add one more payment method.
In this case you can click on the + Add icon to add a new payment method.
Once the Payment method added successfully, then you can able to delete the credit card details.
Cancel Azure Subscription
Anytime you can cancel Azure subscription. To cancel your Azure subscription, from the Azure Portal, click on Cost Management.
Then click on Go to subscription like below:
Then it will display your current subscription details like below:
Here click on Cancel subscription.
Then it will ask you to Type the Subscription Name, in thise case this is the Free Trial subscription.
Provide a reason and click on Cancel subscription like below:
The process will take sometime and the data will be there for 30 days.
You will also receive an email to your registered email address. If you want to take your data back up, you can do so.
This is how, you can cancel azure subscription.
